North Carolina, Come On And Raise Up

Thanks to the South for destroying the faith, one psycho preacher at a time. Here's an earlier version with more background.

I'm really proud of those 40 people who left in protest. I can't believe there weren't more. I tend to believe that people, despite their beliefs are generally more rational than that. Maybe I'm wrong and it's a horrible world after all. Being a Church of Christ Democrat all my life and coming from a family of such gives a guy a lot of perspective. I encourage everyone to be in the minority. It's humbling and make you a better person, I think.

Can I say that I was a member of Phi Beta Kool? Of course I can. I got more awkward sweaty hugs than I'd like to count. I miss that socially lacking old guy.

Hey, I was an officer in Phi Beta Kool. I even had an autographed poster.

These are the people who really frighten me. It is one thing to disagree, it is entirely another to forbid anyone else to do the same in your presence.

How does this make sense to people?
