The Ivy On The Wall Is Fake

She teaches at Harvard, and she based some of her research (and fairly self-evident conclusions) on playing the Hollywood Stock Exchange. I've been playing the HSX for a year or so, and I check it everyday.

Harvard, you know where to reach me.

This is Harvard. We want you to help write a book.

I mean, we think it'll be a book. We're not quite sure yet.

Leave a post somewhere on ye olde blog and let us know if you're interested.

What are the chances Harvard actually wants you to write a book? I bet they just want you to enroll in their grad-school program and have you make millions on their name and then donate liberally to their fund.

Also, I hate that you link a lot of stuff that I can't get to at work. How annoying is that?

Harvard: Thanks. Sounds good. Let me know what's up.

Tucker: Well, it's not my fault your office's firewall blocks porn. Tell them to stop being such sticklers for things like "decency" and "propriety" and "not going to prison for making your coworkers uncomfortable." That's just the man keeping you down. Fight back.
[Actually, all you missed were Ryan Adams press releases and a couple of Yahoo news pages.]

Cool, thanks. I knew it wasn't your fault. I should do a blog on webpages that I can't see at work, but I am way too lazy for that. What is the HSX?

The HSX is the Hollywood Stock Exchange (www.hsx.com), where you can buy and trade shares of films, stars and directors, as well as calls/puts for weekend openers, holiday or summer warrants, etc. It's basically fantasy sports for people who don't play fantasy sports.

Thanks. That sounds perfect for you.

I have too many fantasies right now to start adding to them.
