What Fourth Wall

I'd like to take this opportunity to invite whoever it was that Googled me and found this site at my office to leave your name. Or, if you don't want to post a comment, you can just email me at the office. But I know someone at my company ran a search on my name and found this page, and I'm pretty curious to know who it was.

Maybe it's the person who deleted their comment. Maybe it's someone who's in love with you and doesn't know how to tell you. Ooooh! Maybe it's Joyce from your office.

I googled your name and didn't find this site in the results (not within the first 3 pages anyway). I even googled "dan carlson blog." Nothing. What is the reason for your paranoia?

I found a Canadian Dan Carlson's blog called "Cursed with a Thin Beard" Ironic how this used to be "Slowly Going Bald" Maybe you 2 should be friends?

The deleted comment was Melanie. Typo.

Someone linked to my site from a Google search for my name from internet provided by my company. So I felt the paranoia was justified. I always feel the paranoia is justified. It's probably not Joyce, who puts white-out on her computer screen and talks to her cubicle.

I could be wrong but I think that the way to get something to the top of a Google list is to google it more often and choose that site. So, in theory, if I were to google Kyle Martin, find myself, then choose it over and over I would be tops on the googled Kyle Martin's of the world. That is why Matt Damon of Craptown, NJ isn't going to get much google play, no matter how many times he searches and finds himself.

This is a theory, and it is by no means researched or valid.

It would suck to live in Craptown.
